A 6 year old’s Birthday Bash

Well today is my Little Will’s Birthday the Big #6.

The Birthday Boy!

Six long years ago I had my little one. It was a hard long pregnancy and I was finally glad to be getting out of the hospital after 1 month of bed rest & under careful watch of the hospital staff. But I would not change anything he is my precious little Will.

Yesterday we had his birthday party at our house.  He wanted to stay home and have a pool party and swim with his friends in our pool. But the weather decided not to cooperate & that it was going to rain on his birthday. So we had an indoor Make your own party.

We had all the supplies to make your own Pizzas & Ice Cream Sundaes.

Pizza toppings were:
Pepperoni
mozzarella cheese
Kielbasa turkey sausage
olives
Either Red Sauce or Garlic Ranch Sauce or in a couple cases people mixed the 2
Pizza dough

Than when the pizzas were done baking, took about 8-10 minutes. We cut them up and the kids dipped their pizzas into plain ranch sauce and Garlic Ranch Sauce.

The pizza was so good & filling. I think it kept growing when I was finished. :(

Now to the Sundae’s:

Cookie Dough Ice Cream
Neapolitan Ice Cream
Carmel Sauce
Chocolate Syrup
Bubble Gum Balls
Big Jelly Beans
Sprinkles
Pecans (chopped)
M&M’s
Recess’s Pieces
Gummy Worms

WOW the kids were sugared out but well worth it. They had so much fun. William told me that it was his best birthday. :)

The Goody Bags were equally fun. I made Ice Cream Cone shaped Bags. I took 12×12 scrap book paper, rolled them into a cone shape taped the edges so it would stay together.

I folded and taped the bottom so the little candies did not sneak out!!!

All in all it was a great party. Tonight we go to dinner. It is a tradition that the kids get to pick the place. Any place that they want to go, they get to. So for the past 5 years we have gone to the same place. Will calls it “the bears”. (Black Bear Diner). It is his favorite.

I hope you enjoyed the post and hearing about my little ones 6th special birthday.
